Went to Walton Hall Gardens today, & it was beautiful! loads going on...Sunday it seems is a family day, primarily we went to see were we would be pitched in a couple of weeks time, ( on the 9th September 2012 ) for the huge Country Fayre event, & we were very pleased at the surroundings...it`s gorgeous!! A super play area, together with oodles of wide open spaces for the kid`s to run wild & loads of silence for Mums & Dads to relax & unwind underneath the leafy trees.
These pictures are of a charming little train that runs around the gardens, fabulous for any older / younger visitors that hate walking!!
So bring yourself a picnic, or have Sunday lunch at any of the local pubs, (all of which seem to be child friendly,) & enjoy a free day out exploring unusual crafting stalls containing handmade items that won`t be found anywhere on the high street.
