Exciting textures are here!!

Loving the textures, & the soft colours are reminding me of a hot sunny day at the seaside eating lots of ice-cream ....the waiting for the cutting will
seem like forever ( in fact only two days! )

I`m so excited to release these lovely new soaps from the mould to see
whats inside??!! Everytime is a surprise....while they are sleeping
they are cooking you can feel the heat coming from them....So happy
with the look of all of them, first time with the soap spaghetti...  :-))

Our curing rack has some serious soaps! I love all fragrances, variety is what it`s all about...something for everyone, this handsome devil smells like a summer walk through a Spanish orange grove. We wanted the colours to surprise the nose, so deciding to go for a beautiful seaside blue & cream colour scheme seemed to fit the bill...we are naughty,....you make up your own mind!!. It has no name as yet.......any ideas welcome ;-)

A big bar of comfort....

I love the feeling at the end of the day of relaxing with a gorgeous, luxurious soft fragrance that makes me want to snuggle down and get cozy....I cannot wait till this baby has cured, when it was released from its mould...oooh the smells!! This sugar pink soap is dressed with a red wine mica & creamy white topping....just sounds like a good night in??!!

Spicy Pear!

Just cut this beautiful hand made cold processed soap.. used a new 'spicy pear' fragrance!! smells absolutely gorgeous - exactly like spicy pears..

Its coloured a lovely deep lilac with a white/hint of blue topping.

Can't wait to use this and get some feedback from our friends & families:)

Hmmm delicious

Lots of exciting days ahead, fragrances arrived and the scents of Summer linger through the house....shame they aren`t lingering outside in the garden...the weather has been shocking, thunder, lightening & hailstones in April!!

Lot`s of great feedback from our last batches & interesting suggestions for our future soaps. What was a surprise was that so many people want different things from their soaps, some want to feel exhilarated for the morning, & others want to feel relaxed for the evening ....so why not have two or more types...one for every mood??

Watch this space, we will be de-moulding our super exciting Spring Range tomorrow ;-))

Ginger sizzle

After enjoying a well earned night out with some old friends, we parted company with a kiss and the gift of soap (of course), which our friends are getting far too used to!! Only to receive a text at 1am from `said` friend, Cat, to say she was running a bath because she was soooo excited to try our Ginger Sizzle soap...so in her honor we are re-naming it.....

Sunday morning am.
Cat cheerly texted announcing, she was `bright eyed & bushy tailed after her morning Ginger Sizzle shower`  and off to walk the dog!.....odd, she loves her Sunday lie in......must be the soap!!??

Lingering fragrance or not?

Our Chocolate & Mango soap is hardening up nicely:) Smells divine!!

It's been raining here most of today, so should have been a perfect day for soapmaking.. however, we've been researching ways to improve (what I consider perfect) our current soaps.

I am torn between the desire (by some) to have a fragrance lingering on the body all day and my own personal preference of using all these lovely oils to clean, refresh & moisten my skin without any lingering smells - other than nicely clean of course!!

The debate continues..

New Lip Balm..

 I have never found a lip balm that I was truly happy with, so decided that I'd do some serious research to try and source one that would suit me.. I do get dry lips and tend to want to moisurise them throughout the day, so had been using various balms including vaseline (but found this to be too greasy).. anyway, long story short - I couldn't find one that suited.. Was it possible to use all the really good things that go into making our beautiful soaps into a lip balm? - well, I thought why not - so we just developed this lip balm for me (and I think a whole lot of other women.. and men.. & even kids too:) - who are like me).. It has candellia wax - as opposed to beeswax, so ideal for vegans, shea butter, cocoa butter, sweet almond oil and vitamin E - with a hint of peppermint.. feels lovely & refreshing on the lips & seems to be just about perfect

Wow.. This is crumbly - but it smells so fantastic.. can't wait to use it!!

It's real chocolate chips & mango fragrance oil.. along with the usual lovely oils.. sublime:)

As it's Easter - and everyone loves chocolate (don't they) it seems a good idea to call this: 'It's Mine - Not Terry's'..

Having a busy Easter weekend working on perfecting our recipes and brain storming new ideas..

Excited..

Just wanted to share this amazing Hand Made c/p soap that we've just removed from the mould. It looks great, smell's Heavenly and really does look good enough to eat!! As you can hopefully see it has nice strong colouring and we are going to call it: Kaleidoscope..

We are very busy putting the finishing touches to a really fantastic range of new recipes whilst dealing with packaging, labels, containers etc.

Nearly There..

We are finally ready to commence full production of our range of amazing luxury Hand-Made Soaps (using the traditional Cold Process method) Shampoos, Lip & Body Balms.

The above Soaps smell incredible in a great range of frangrances using Essential Oils - like: ginger, peppermint, sweet orange and tea tree - with body loving oils like olive, coconut & jojoba.. you will think that you are in Heaven:)

As well as Global Ethically sourced ingredients - we use wax supplied by our own bees (we only take a very small amount) - everything we produce is suitable for the vegetarian & most for a vegan lifestyle (we replace Bees Wax with Candelilla Wax), and are free from Parabens, Fillers & SLS.

It has been a long road.. designing recipes, testing and sourcing all the lovely ingredients that will be included in all our products.

We will continue to post information and images of our products over the next few weeks.
